Pregnancy results from sex. Women get pregnant after sexual intercourse. Some women prefer to prevent pregnancy due to various reasons like unplanned sex, no job, lack of proper life plan and no enough money to adopt the baby. Both married and unmarried women may want to abort the baby. Sometimes the husbands of the respective women may not want the baby and thus force the pregnant women to sacrifice the child for his whims. Young couples encounter this situation nowadays. There are many means to enjoy our sex life so as to hinder pregnancy until one is ready.
Stopping Pregnancy By Safe Methods
1. Sex during Safe Period :
It has been thought by people that sex at the safe period naturally stops or prevents unwanted pregnancy. Safe period falls in the middle of the 8th day and the 20th day of a female menstrual cycle. The premier day of the period corresponds to first day of the menstrual cycle and a woman will not be discharging ovules at this time. Moreover it is advised to use any protective measures or some other resilient contraceptive techniques. Even at safe period, unprotected sex also maximizes the risks of pregnancy.
2. Condom :
Condom is the safest and mostly available form of choice to avoid unwanted pregnancy. They are thin rubber sheets that is spinned over an penis that is erected at intercourse so as to obstruct the semen to get into the vagina at the time of ejaculation. Though most people have a condom, they are not fully aware about how to use it the right way. This results in complications at the time of the act. A usual mistake people commit is they use the lubrication wrongly along the condom for smoother penetration. We must not utilize an oil lubricant such as petroleum jelly along a rubber condom as it will tear and vandalize it. So water lubricants must be used instead.
3. Birth Control Tablets :
These oral pills must be used by a woman which lowers the risks of pregnancy greatly. In the market, many birth control pills are available. In the modern days, these birth control tablets come in a mixture of low doses of the two hormones such as estrogen and progesterone. Tablets react on different levels, copying these two hormones, obstructing the ovum secretion, clottening cervical mucus by hindering the sperm from getting into uterus. But, the disadvantage is these tablets must be used every day at similar time or else they will not work.
4. Getting Out Of Orgasm :
Getting out of orgasm needs some courage from the side of man apart from the woman. This technique generally means refraining from the act when the man is on the verge of reaching the orgasmic climax. This assures that he does not ejaculate his semen inside the vagina, so that the sperms do not get deep inside the vagina to reach an ovum or egg. But this technique does not come amateurly, it needs some constant practise because it is difficult to hold an orgasm when one is reaching climax. But it should be borne in mind that without protection everything is unsafe. Unfortunately if one happens to release semen into a vagina prior pulling the penis out, it assures her possibilities of becoming pregnant to some extent.
5. Copper T :
It is a simple “Intra-uterine Device” made for an easy to use, “plastic wrapped with a thin copper containing wire”. It is in the shape of the alphabet T. The T shape has been selected because “it suits the area around the uterus, allowing for it to remain intact in the same place for years without moving” anywhere. If the means for ever enduring protection to delay pregnancy comes, it remain the most unique and the most ample choice for the females. It does not possess any unlucky negative effects and makes a pregnancy late for more than 10 years or so. Two types of this device are available. The first obstructs the append-aging of the fertilized egg in the uterine walls and other prevents the constant release of hormones prevents the attachment of the fertilized egg on the uterine wall. The Copper T should be fixed in the uterine wall with the help of a doctor and must be removed if the woman is ready to be pregnant. This is usually suggested to ladies who have had given birth to a child before.
6. Spermicides :
Tablets like Intra-vaginal boluses can be implanted inside the vaginal tract some minutes prior to sexual intercourse. They generally possess a limited alias spermicide. Tablet or the bolus as it is commonly called dissolves forming a waxy secretion and destroys the semen which try to get into the vagina. They also provide easy penetration by lubrication and thereby reduces cramp and ruffling experienced during sexual intercourse. The disadvantage is that we have to wait for at least half an hour after fixing it so that the spermicides to start their work.
7. DMPA Injection :
These injections are also known as Injectable contraceptives. It is simple and devoid of any complications. This injection is administered to a woman once in every three months to stop from being pregnant unwantedly. This injection consists of very few doses of progesterone and its outcome can be felt for about three months. A woman can be injected even during the time of breastfeeding too. It neither harms the baby nor the mother. This injection is usually administered to any women who gave birth to a baby already.
8. Contraception :
These contraceptive pills are known as the after morning pills. These can help to obstruct an unwanted pregnancy resulting from an accidental intercourse. A word of caution is that we have to swallow the pill between two or three days of indulging in sex. The purpose being sperms stay in a vagina for three days, unlike the ovum which has a lifespan of about two days. If there is delay in swallowing the pill results in an undesired pregnancy. Then there would be no reason in using this pill.
9. Foreplay :
At times some people have a kindling desire without any prior indulgence. If we do not want our feelings to go off suddenly we must luxuriate in the act of foreplay. Indulging in foreplay helps to have a better sex. Foreplay assures to excite both the man and the woman by exploring, touching and feeling their vulnerable areas and assisting to link preferably as a power couple by not just concentrating on the orgasm.
