Physical exercise is more important for health and fitness. Human body is like a machine so we need to maintain and look after it properly. If a man is not physically fit and healthy, his mind cannot be sharp and active. Physical exercise helps in maintaining good health and fitness. Regular exercise is a good source of stamina, energy and strength. It is a form of self-control and sincerity that helps in character building and makes our mind sharp and active. It improves our performance, mental strength and neglects our idleness.
BENEFITS OF EXERCISE:
Now-a-days youths are very much fond of junk foods that spoils their health. A person without good health cannot enjoy life. So physical exercises make us healthy. If we exercise an hour daily, we can work hard rest of the day. If we don’t exercise, then our muscles and bones might become weaker and may not be able to do things properly. Regular physical exercise boosts the immune system and prevents from heart diseases, obesity and diabetes. It may decrease some effects of childhood and adult obesity.
There are three types of exercises namely the aerobic, anaerobic and flexibility exercises.
Aerobic Exercise:
Aerobic exercise makes the body to use more oxygen and its goal is to increase cardiovascular endurance. It helps to raise the pulse rate to the targeted level and strengthens your heart, lungs. It pumps more blood inside the body and prevents blood clots. It also helps to control the body weight. Aerobic exercises are cycling, swimming, skipping, etc.
Anaerobic Exercise:
Anaerobic requires a lot more energy and stamina. Anaerobic exercise makes the muscle strengthen and improves bone strength. The adrenaline level in the body will surely have an impact of positive nature. Anaerobic exercises are push-ups, weight lifting, bicep curls, etc.
Flexibility Exercise:
It stretches and lengthens the muscles. It helps to improve the joints and its goal is to improve range of motion. Like adults, kids also need daily exercise to develop immunity resistance from diseases.. Now-a-days kids are spending more time in watching TV, playing video games, mobile phones, computer, etc. parents should take care of children and limit watching TV, video games, computers, etc. Ask them to play outdoor games at least three hours a day, so that they can be energetic for rest of the day. Most of the children love running around a playground and playing in the park. They feel less stress and keep a healthy weight, feel better to learn more from school and build healthy bones, muscles and joints. Children under age five should be physically active everyday for at least three hours. The children and young people between 5 to 18 should do at least one hour of aerobic exercise every day.
Significance of exercise:
Exercises help to keep our body away from diseases and mainly for digestion. It takes our mind away from the hard menial of work and fills it with joy. Our life is full of struggles and activities, so any one can easily tackle us with their physical fitness and mental alertness. It also gives refreshness and fresh mind that helps us to work with improved strength.
Right time to exercise:
Exercise should not be taken all the time. Early morning and evening is the best time to exercise. It should be taken in the open air and closed room is not a right place for taking exercise. It should be taken regularly but remember, no exercise should be taken immediately after meals or in an empty stomach and should not over exercise. It may create some health problems.
Children’s health:
Proper nutrition and exercise is compulsory for children. Without these factors, it won’t be looking good. It makes every part in our body to be active, because it pumps blood every day in our life time. The cardiac muscle is a strongest muscle in our body which is always looking for getting even stronger. The blood cells in our body increases our blood and helps to carry more oxygen. This is the right time to teach children to develop good healthy habits and cool to be fit. Ask them to run, jump and climb. In the age of 2 to 5 children develop their basic movement skills such as catching, running, rolling a ball. There are three different games for children in order to help burn off extra energy and increase balance, bone density and strength. Make your children to warm up before exercising to prevent from injury. It takes about five to ten minutes for warm up and after that continue exercise. Right supervision is necessary and safety for children. It helps the child to grow healthy and sharper.
So health is very important for happiness. Exercise keeps us healthy and strengthens our mind. It is compulsory to exercise daily and it should not be ignored. It keeps our body and mind fresh, so we should take regular exercise.
